About Milestones
A milestone is a significant event in your life. Often a milestone marks the start of a new chapter. For example, the day you graduated from high school, got married, or graduated from college are all milestones in your life. It is often a personal moment when you reflect on where you stand in life. It can also be a non-personal event that results in a big change, such as a milestone victory where you work.

The Five Milestones of Service
EVENTS MILESTONE – To provide an array of wholesome and affordable social events for senior adults in the community on an annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly basis that will address the needs of senior adults for socialization and to combat the loneliness and isolation that many senior adults face as they age.
SHARE MILESTONE - We are better together! We share our love for and with each other through engaging opportunities, honoring wisdom, nurturing faith, and enjoying talents by bringing senior adults together in community.
SERVE MILESTONE - The goal of the SERVE MILESTONE is to do our part to fulfill the mission of the Manteno Church of the Nazarene to Serve Others, specifically the senior adults of our community.
SECURITY MILESTONE – To provide information on safe living for senior adults including presentations on physical safety and identity theft.
FAITH MILESTONE - To provide FAITH DEVELOPMENT opportunities for senior adults at all levels of Faith through participation in (1) Journey Groups, (2) Shepherd’s Sharing for retired ministers and wives, (3) Hymn Sings/Worship Services focused on senior adults and (4) individual Bible studies with those who are homebound.
