6Manteno Kids provides a safe environment for children (birth to 4th grade) to have fun and grow in their relationship with Jesus. It takes all of us to influence our children and to create an environment where they encounter God. As the Yoruba proverb (and Hilary Clinton) say "It takes a village to raise a child." A big village. There is always a place to serve in Manteno Kids.

Some positions are behind the scenes; preparing materials, making copies, or scheduling volunteers. Others are right out in front. - of adults - checking in kids on Sunday mornings.  Of kids - teaching or assisting on Sunday or Wednesday nights. Or a mixture of all; planning events. And if grade-schoolers are not your gig - there is always nursery and preschoolers to volunteer in.

All volunteers are screened and background checked before serving. What is the process to volunteer you ask? Sign up with your area of interest and the Children’s Pastor will connect with you. Next, fill out a volunteer application and background check authorization that is sent to you. Then, observe in the area of interest to see if it’s a good fit for you. The frequency of serving is variable. You could serve once a month, you could serve for one month and be off for three months, etc.
