Ken and Teresa started their youth ministry together in the summer of 1985 while students at Olivet Nazarene University. Their journey brings them back to this area. Teresa, an ordained elder in the Nazarene Church, teaches youth and ministry classes in the School of Theology. Their children, Tanner, Tate, and Mary, possess their passion for youth and ministry. Tanner lives in Denver, CO. He coaches volleyball while working as an athletic trainer and strength coach. He also works at 5280, an inner city mission for teenagers in Denver. Tate works with YFC while she takes classes at ONU. Mary and her husband, Brendon Myers, live in Bryan, OH. Their kids – Makenna and Cooper – call Ken, Silly Papa, and Teresa, Ma T. Ken's always looking for a good hunting spot and the family is always looking for a good beach to relax!
